A leading publisher is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and energetic person to fill the position of Marketing Coordinator. This position is based in Cape Town and reports to the Marketing Manager.
Key performance areas
- Commission and manage market research when required
- Manage the marketing database
- Assist in planning and implementing marketing campaigns, product launches and exhibitions
- Be in possession of a relevant tertiary qualification in marketing.
Attributes
- Some knowledge of the education and tertiary markets
- A working knowledge of a design/layout package
- Excellent copywriting skills and command of the English language
- Good knowledge of the publishing process
- Advanced experience with MS Excel, MS Word, email and databases.
Competencies
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to budgets and deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good analysis and problem assessment skills, particularly relating to research data
- Excellent customer service orientation.
